The Process...

Collage:

Start with whatever clean, reusable materials I have on hand. This one was a laminating pouch, primed with paint, adhered old pattern pieces, adhered a graphic design, painted over with layers of various types/textures of paint, paint pens, ink, etc. Clear coat. Sourced a Metal Frame from a Resale Store.  Ready to Sale....

3D/Collage/Texture:

This one was started with torn pieces of paper from music sheets, book pages, wrapping paper, leftover stationary. Glued to a piece of random cardboard. 2D & 3D items are glued on in a thought out layout, moving pieces around until liking the design and composition. Initial paint, chalk, crayon, glitter/dust, layering. More painting, 3D additions, splatter paint, smudging charcoal pencils, adding glitter dust. Adding the final clear coat - sourced a frame from a resale store. Ready to sale.

This one is from the back cardboard from a notepad. Used adhesive to spread out and add layers of tissue paper, scraps of paper, torn pages from thrift store books, clipart, etc. Then comes the chalk, charcoal pencils, liquid and 3D paint elements. Then adding stamped shapes, accents, etc. to finish the look.

Recycled Glass:

The process is different for each of the recycled glass projects. They start with a clean empty glass bottle. Various papers, wallpaper, tissue, paper towels, netting, etc. is adhered to the bottle. Dry for 24 hours, start the painting process. Layers of different colors, washes, glitter/powdered sheen, ink, coffee grinds, whatever materials that are accessible and give the desired look. Add any broken jewelry, sisal rope, ribbon, leather to give texture, design and interest. Clear coat for preservation and durability. Ready to Sale...

Littles:

Littles are anything from bookmarks, ornaments, gift tags, tiny bottles, etc. Use anything that is available: cardboard, chipboard, wood pieces, plastic, styrofoam, glass, metal, beads, shells, etc.

Layers of paint, paper mache, 2D/3D elements, clear coat - hang/place to dry, add string/ribbon hangers, etc.
